Teller County did not publish an official rated bed count on the detention, command staff, visitation, or commissary pages inspected. The public active roster displayed 76 total inmates on June 1, 2026. That roster number is a point-in-time public count, not average daily population. The research also found a historical Colorado Legislative Council daily jail cost figure of $50.00 for Teller County in 2017. That cost is not a current fee charged to families and should not be used as a bond or commissary figure.

Recreation is described as about an hour every other day.

The jail uses pod-style housing. Pods have common areas with fixed tables and seating, and individual cells are usually on two levels. People may spend some time in cells and other time in the pod for cards, games, reading, or television. Trips to commissary, library, or recreation require correctional officer escort. That is a local description, not a generic jail template.
